Just a few days earlier, the Princess of Wales had visited Leicester, where she met local residents and explored businesses along the city’s well-known Golden Mile district.
During the visit, Catherine stopped at a Hindu temple where she took part in a traditional welcome ceremony. Before entering the temple, she removed her shoes as a sign of respect, following the customary practice observed in many places of worship.
The gesture resonated strongly with many observers who praised the princess for honoring local traditions.
For the visit, Catherine wore a cream-colored coat dress designed by Chris Kerr, paired with camel-colored heels before removing them at the temple entrance.
