In a video shared online, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, were seen enjoying an Easter egg hunt in the gardens of their home in Montecito, California.

The footage captured a cheerful scene, with the children wearing bunny ears, gathering eggs, and even carrying a large stuffed bunny. Meghan also included clips of her chickens, showing herself walking up to a coop, lifting the lid, and revealing a neat collection of eggs.

A Sweet Moment — With Questions

At first glance, the video appeared to be a simple, wholesome look at a family holiday. But it didn’t take long for some viewers to begin questioning certain details — particularly the appearance of the eggs shown in the coop.

One critic wrote on X: “Anyone who owns chickens know when they lay eggs they NEVER come out this clean. Why does Meghan Markle LIE about EVERYTHING?!”

Another added: “They are shiny like plastic.”

A different commenter compared them to decorations, saying: “I have a basket full of fake eggs which I use as decoration for Easter and they look exactly like these eggs.”

Others also pointed out the unusual look, with one person noting: “They look almost pearlized. Freshly laid eggs don’t look that way.”
